OBJECTIVE OF THE SEMINAR
To familiarize staff and PhD students with examples of good and poor publication practices in journals within the discipline of Management and Quality Sciences. The seminar will also provide guidance on selecting appropriate journals relevant to the scope of scientific research.

LECTURER PROFILE
Prof. Marianna SIGALA is a globally recognized expert in marketing, tourism, and academic publishing. She serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Management and Co-editor of the Journal of Service Theory & Practice, providing unparalleled insights into the publication process and journal expectations. Prof. Sigala has held significant academic roles worldwide, including as Professor of Tourism and Director of the Centre for Tourism & Leisure Management at the University of South Australia. She is a prolific author of nine books and numerous academic articles and has led research projects funded by the EU, the Council of Europe, and the Australian government. Her achievements have been widely recognized, including the EuroCHRIE Presidents’ Award for lifetime contributions to tourism and hospitality education. With her academic expertise and extensive editorial experience, she is uniquely positioned to guide participants in successfully publishing in high-impact journals.
